Gordon Snider spent his first career as a businessman and educator. After earning his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and his masters from California State University Los Angeles, he worked for companies for fifteen years before becoming an independent consultant and university professor. He worked as a marketing consultant for many years and taught at four universities, most recently at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In the spring of 2007, he was invited to teach at a university in Finland and will return there to teach again in the spring of 2008.

Gordon has published numerous magazine articles and two business books. His second book, How to Become a Killer Competitor, is still in print. However when he moved to California’s central coast in 1999, he discovered a love for writing fiction and began writing novels. After spending five years learning his new craft, his first novel, Sigourney’s Quest, was published in February 2006. It has received much acclaim from book reviewers, reading groups, and individuals who enjoy reading a good story.

The Separatist is Gordon’s second novel, but he has not stopped there. A third novel, Venice Lost, is finished, and he is well on his way to completing the first draft of his fourth, The Hypnotist. Gordon now spends his time exploring the seashore in Pismo Beach with his wife, Fe, playing golf, and writing new twists and plots and his novels.
